Nigerian actress, Iyabo Ojo, has provided an update on the late Afrobeats singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, also known as Mohbad. Iyabo Ojo has been actively seeking justice for Mohbad and invested significant time and effort into the ongoing case.
She shared an Instagram post to reveal that the police have interrogated Mohbad’s wife three consecutive times. Additionally, she gave an update on Dj Splash, mentioning that he has been discharged from the hospital and is recovering rapidly.
Iyabo Ojo provided an update on Mohbad’s case, stating that it has been transferred to the Directorate of Public Prosecution, Ministry of Justice. The police are awaiting toxicology results, and Mohbad’s remains have not been released yet. Mohbad’s wife has been interrogated three times.
Two of those times were on the day when Mohbad’s father was televised addressing the public. Another interrogation took place on September 21, 2023, which is why Tonto Dikeh and Senator Ishaku Abbo met her in her absence. Additionally, Iyabo Ojo mentioned that the CCTV camera in Mohbad’s house was never functional.
On a positive note, Dj Splash has been discharged from the hospital and is recovering quickly. He will soon write his statement and address the general public.
Iyabo Ojo reminded the police about their promise to provide an update on Mohbad’s case, which has been two weeks since their commitment. She shared an old video of her visit to the commissioner of police, where he assured her and Nigerians that they would receive an update within two weeks.
In her caption, she respectfully urged the commissioner not to forget his promise, as the whole world is awaiting an update on the investigation.
