Nigerian singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has reportedly purchased a $900,000 (N690 million) mansion in Atlanta for his wife, Chioma Avril Rowland, as a push gift.
This news comes after the couple welcomed a set of twins, a boy and a girl, in Atlanta, USA on October 9th, 2023. A leaked video circulating online also confirmed the arrival of the twins as Davido and Chioma left the hospital in the USA.
Around 11 months ago, Davido and Chioma experienced the loss of their 3-year-old son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, who passed away on October 31st, 2023.
Recently, investigative journalist Kemi Olunloyo shared a claim via her Instagram story regarding the $900,000 push gift from Davido to Chioma. She described the house as not only lavish but also elegantly furnished and tasteful.
While sharing this information, Kemi advised the singer about the importance of maintaining privacy in his life. She expressed concerns about the possibility of security threats if the house was publicly recorded, urging Davido to refrain from posting it online.
Kemi Olunloyo offered a cautionary message along with her post:
“This is how it starts. I like Davido’s Push gift for Chioma, a mansion in Atlanta worth $900,000 after my real estate search of the address. Well furnished and tasteful but videotaping the entire house over there is setting it up for burglaries and danger.
“Have we forgotten Pop Smoke and the Air B & B location murders? David, keep it private. Nooo!!! Not where you sleep at night. Nobody must know that location. Don’t do Ojuorolari.”
