Renowned Afrobeats artist David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has broken his silence in a recent interview following the birth of a set of twins with his wife, Chioma Avril Rowland.
Previously reported by Intel Region, Davido and Chioma welcomed twins in the USA on October 9th, 2023. A video circulated online showing Chioma in a wheelchair holding the twins while Davido stood beside her. The singer’s father, billionaire Adedeji Adeleke, was also present, capturing the heartwarming moment in his Bentley.
It’s worth remembering that just last year, in October 2022, Davido and Chioma tragically lost their 3-year-old son, Ifeanyi Adeleke.
In the interview, Davido reflected on this incredible journey, acknowledging the miracle of losing a son in October and welcoming twins in the same month a year later. He shared, “When my wife and I found out, we were shaking, and it was in the same month. My son passed last year in October, and my wife gave birth this year in October, so it’s crazy.”
Davido’s statement emphasized the importance of having faith and never giving up.
