Mrs. Ogendegbe, the mother of the well-known nurse, Feyisayo Ogendegbe, who is currently undergoing police questioning regarding the Mohbad case, has decided to share her perspective on the events of the fateful day when her daughter was summoned to provide medical care to the late singer.
In the wake of Mohbad’s tragic passing, law enforcement has taken into custody a diverse group of suspects, among them Nurse Feyisayo, who administered an injection when called in to tend to the late singer’s injuries.
In viral videos, Nurse Feyisayo’s mother came forward to assert her eldest daughter’s innocence and dispel any notions of her being an unqualified nurse.
She emphatically stated that her daughter is a bona fide nursing professional who received her nursing education at a private hospital in Ogun and completed a one-year apprenticeship under her employer. She emphasized that her daughter had never made a life-threatening error or harmed a patient during her career.
Feyisayo’s mother went on to clarify that her daughter had never met or treated the late singer before. She explained that it was Mohbad’s associate, known as “Spending,” who reached out to her daughter on that fateful day to address Mohbad’s hand injury.
According to her, Mohbad’s wife, Omowunmi’s younger brother, personal assistant, and friend “Spending” were all present to oversee the injection administered by her daughter to the late musician.
The grieving widow was unwavering in her belief that her daughter’s injection could not have caused Mohbad’s death because she is a seasoned professional in her field and had never made a mistake before.
Mrs. Ogendegbe made a heartfelt plea to Nigerians to come to her aid, expressing her indignation that her daughter had been named as a primary suspect in a murder case when she is entirely innocent.
She revealed that she accompanied her daughter to the police station to cooperate with the investigation into Mohbad’s death, with the understanding that her daughter would be released after an autopsy. However, she noted that the autopsy was taking longer than anticipated.
