Popular actor Odunla celebrates Rasak Olasunkanmi Olayiwola, better known as Ojopagogo, on his birthday today, September 30, 2023. Following the actors post on his social media page, the veteran actor shared a photo of himself dressed in agbada, expressing his gratitude for another year of life. Like Afeez Oyetoro, also known as Saka, Ojopagogo hails from Iseyin in Oyo state.
He is happily married to Moji Afolayan, who is the elder sister of filmmaker Kunle Afolayan, Aremu, and Gabriel Afolayan. Interestingly, Ojopagogo shares his birthday with his in-law, Kunle Afolayan, who is also celebrating today. He primarily resides in Ibadan, Oyo state, and travels to Lagos for movie projects as needed.
The name “Ojopagogo” was bestowed upon him during a stage play titled “Ola Abata” in 1986. This play, graced by the Alaafin of Oyo, was produced by the Labake Theatre, with which the actor had previously collaborated.
In his birthday message, Ojopagogo expressed his gratitude, saying: “Alhamdulillahi robili alamin #birthday.”
