Yoruba Nollywood actress, Dayo Amusa, has stirred up excitement online with a gesture of respect towards one of her industry mentors, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall, popularly known as Kwam1 or K1 De Ultimate.
In a gesture of gratitude and in celebration of his Chieftaincy title, Dayo presented Kwam1 with a statue of himself, expressing her appreciation for his support.
However, the statue, which was intended to be a likeness of him, has sparked questions about the sculptor’s professionalism, as many have pointed out that it bears no resemblance to Kwam1.
Here are some of the reactions to the statue:
Ronnke commented, “It does not look like him.”
Hico Nation wrote, “Nice, you’re not an ingrate.”
Ololade wrote, “This person didn’t do a good job at all.”
Nene Ebony wrote, “The police should arrest the person who made this.”
Daddy Shile commented, “This one looks like Kwam2 Promax. Anyway, it’s the thought that counts.”
Im_Lateefat asked, “Is this one Murital Muhammad?”
I_Am_Jwazin joked, “Maybe this one is K1’s father’s statue? Because it doesn’t resemble him at all. This one is Kwam7.”
