Kwam1 has disclosed the reason behind the selection of him as the Olori Omooba of Ijebu Kingdom by Ọba Sikiru Kayọde Adetọna, the Awujale Of Ijebuland.
As a recap, Wasiu Ayinde assumed a significant role after being bestowed with the prestigious title of Olori Omoba of Akile Ijebu by the paramount ruler of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Adetona, during the recent Ojude Oba festival.
The Olori Omoba title holds immense pride and distinction in Ijebuland, last held by the highly esteemed Nigerian and founder of First City Monument Bank, the late Otunba Subomi Balogun, who passed away at the age of 89.
Kwam1’s new role as the Olori Omoba is to preserve and promote the culture and traditions of the Ijebu people, as well as contribute to various developmental tasks within the society.
