Popular Nigerian singer Wizkid is facing criticism from internet users for maintaining silence regarding the passing of former Marlian signee, Mohbad.
While notable figures such as Davido, Burnaboy, Olamide, Don Jazzy, Funke Akindele, Ini Edo, Paul Okoye, and Kiekie have paid their respects to the late singer, Wizkid, a beloved Nigerian artist, has yet to make a statement.
It’s worth noting that Wizkid, whose real name is Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, recently lost his biological mother to death, but he has been seen attending two separate fashion shows in London, UK.
The silence surrounding Mohbad’s death has left many wondering about Wizkid’s reasons, especially after uncovering an old tweet in which the Grammy Award-winning artist declared his loyalty to the Marlian movement, saying, “Marlians forever till after life! 💯” in a 2019 throwback post.
