It’s truly heart-wrenching to hear the late singer Mohbad’s mother tearfully pleading with Nigerians to locate Naira Marley, as she recounts allegations of abuse involving her son and Naira Marley and Sam Larry.
This emotional disclosure took place during a conversation with actresses Tonto Dikeh and Iyabo Ojo, who visited her at her home. Such allegations of abuse are grave and demand a thorough investigation by the appropriate authorities.
Addressing the reporters also present, she revealed that her son had endured significant suffering at the hands of Naira Marley. She shared that her child would often cry, and he was subjected to physical abuse, preventing him from attending his scheduled shows.
She stated, “My child would be crying all the time. They would beat him whenever he was supposed to go for a show, making it impossible for him to attend. I don’t know who Sam Larry is. I don’t know anybody. I don’t know any influential person. I’ve seen you all now. You promised me. Help me find Naira; he treated my son like a slave. When my son was with Naira, he never provided for me. Please help me locate him.”
She recounted how her son would implore her not to let them harm him, and she would reassure him that she had connections and would seek help.
