A new video featuring the Baale of Ikorodu in Lagos State speaking about Mohbad’s death has sparked various reactions.
In the recently circulated video, the Baale of Ikorodu revealed that Mohbad had intended to bury him on the same day he died, midnight, before he intervened.
As a reminder, Mohbad passed away at the age of 27 on September 12th, 2023, under controversial circumstances, and was laid to rest on September 13th, 2023, in Ikorodu, Lagos State.
This revelation from the Baale of Ikorodu follows previous statements from the Coffin Maker, who claimed that Mohbad’s neck was bent in the casket due to a rushed burial where he wasn’t allowed to take measurements.
Many have criticized Mohbad’s father for the decision to bury him the day after his death, especially since he was not a Muslim. Some have raised suspicions, considering the circumstances, and called for an investigation.
Nigerians are now demanding an autopsy following these startling revelations, as well as the exhumation of Mohbad’s body by the police, scheduled for September 20th or at the latest, Thursday, September 21st.
