Canadian singer and composer Chrissy Spratt has garnered attention and praise for her tribute song to the late Nigerian singer Mohbad.

Chrissy Spratt, known for her remarkable renditions of Afrobeat songs, chose to honor Mohbad by covering his hit song “Peace” as a heartfelt condolence message.

Mohbad’s untimely death on September 12, 2023, under controversial circumstances has led to calls for an autopsy due to revelations of harassment and assault during his life, particularly by his former record label boss Sam Larry, who is close to Naira Marley.

In addition to Nigerian artists, several foreign artists, including Lil Durk, Popcaan, Kodak Black, Shatta Wale, and others, have begun paying tribute to the late Mohbad.

Chrissy Spratt, a vocal powerhouse, left many impressed with her effortless rendition of Mohbad’s song “Peace.”
