The artisan responsible for crafting Mohbad’s coffin has provided an explanation for why the late singer’s neck appeared bent inside the casket. Mohbad, renowned for his song “Peace,” sadly passed away on September 12, 2023, and was laid to rest on September 13, 2023, in Ikorodu, Lagos.
Following Mohbad’s tragic passing, a video circulated online displaying his lifeless body in a casket with his neck appearing bent, sparking significant controversy. In response to the discussions surrounding this issue, the coffin maker has stepped forward to clarify why the singer’s neck was positioned in this manner.
The coffin maker earnestly asks that Nigerians avoid placing blame on him, explaining that there was insufficient time to take precise measurements for Mohbad’s coffin.
He further explained in responses to comments that the urgency was due to the father and the family’s wish for a rapid arrangement.
“There was no time for measurements. You don’t need to blame me for it because they wanted it done quickly,” he responded in replies to inquiries from the late singer’s fans.
