Nollywood actor and film producer Yul Edochie has expressed his frustration with Nollywood celebrities and Nigerians for their hypocrisy.
In the aftermath of Mohbad’s passing, Yul Edochie pointed out how many individuals have been seeking attention by using the singer’s name, yet they have been guilty of similar mistreatment towards him.
He described these people as demons and wicked individuals, highlighting that the internet trolls and his colleagues are no different from those who bullied Mohbad.
Yul Edochie stated, “All of you who are posting ‘Justice for Mohbad,’ along with the Nollywood people joining you in shouting it, you are no different from the people who mistreated Mohbad. You’re all demons and wicked people, merely chasing clout.”
He continued by sharing his own experience of being subjected to insults and bullying on the internet for over a year. He criticized those who have spread false stories about him and accused them of trying to destroy his reputation.
Yul Edochie emphasized that the same mistreatment experienced by Mohbad is what he has endured online, and he questioned how many Nollywood celebrities have spoken out against it. He also revealed that even his own relatives have used his situation for personal gain.
In conclusion, Yul Edochie expressed his resilience and called out those who have wished him harm, stating that their negative intentions will rebound on them.
