In light of the allegations surrounding Naira Marley’s alleged role in the passing of his former signee, Mohbad, a number of Nigerian celebrities have commenced the process of unfollowing him on Instagram.
Mohbad, who tragically passed away at the age of 27 on September 12th, 2023, was laid to rest on September 13th, 2023.
Following his untimely death, several videos emerged that depicted Naira Marley’s close associate, Sam Larry, engaging in physical altercations with Mohbad, and at one point, even chasing him away during a music video shoot featuring Zlatan Ibile.
The aftermath of Mohbad’s tragic passing has unleashed chaos, and the repercussions for those suspected of involvement are now extending to an international scale.
As a consequence, certain celebrities who previously had online connections with Naira Marley on Instagram have begun to sever those ties.
Among the celebrities who have unfollowed Naira Marley are Funke Akindele, Don Jazzy, Young John, Fireboy, BNXN, Tunde Ednut, Taooma, Toke Makinwa, and DJ Dorcas Shola Fapson (DSF), while Naira Marley continues to follow them.
