Mohbad’s father, Mr. Joseph Aloba, has come forward to defend Naira Marley, the Marlian Records boss, against allegations of involvement in his son’s death.
In a recent interview, Mr. Aloba discussed the tragic loss of his son and the events that occurred between him and his former boss.
Mohbad’s father explained that when he was informed about the altercation between his son and Naira Marley, he attempted to contact Naira Marley but was unsuccessful, as he was hesitant to visit Naira Marley’s residence.
He also clarified that when Mohbad was assaulted in 2022, Naira Marley was not directly involved. According to the information provided by his son, other individuals were responsible for the attack.
Regarding allegations of his son’s drug use, Mr. Aloba firmly stated that he is unaware of such activities, although he acknowledged the presence of intoxication practices within the Marlian group.
He concluded by expressing that his son’s passing was ultimately in God’s hands.
