A significant rift has emerged between the popular Nigerian disc jockey, DJ Chicken, and his alleged girlfriend, Funmi Sugar, as they engage in a public dispute online.
For the past several weeks, DJ Chicken and Funmi Sugar had been known for openly displaying affection towards each other on social media. However, on September 12th, 2023, their dynamics took a dramatic turn.
During an Instagram live session, Funmi Sugar shocked online audiences by stating that DJ Chicken had never been intimate with her. She went on to assert that she would never permit someone like DJ Chicken to engage in a romantic relationship with her.
Funmi Sugar emphasized her preference for affluent men and even claimed that she could maintain celibacy for up to six months, emphasizing her lack of interest in being with DJ Chicken. She suggested that her association with him was solely for clout-chasing and enhancing her online presence.
In her own words, she expressed,
“I know people will not believe it, but DJ Chicken hasn’t been intimate with me before!!”
The video, however, triggered a strong reaction from DJ Chicken, who also conducted a live session to counter Funmi Sugar’s claims. In his response, he revealed that he had engaged in intimate encounters with Funmi Sugar on at least five occasions. DJ Chicken further disclosed that their interactions had been quite intimate.
He went on to say that she often let her guard down regarding her privacy when she was in his hotel room. He even mentioned a concerning incident where his younger brother attempted to be intimate with her, but DJ Chicken prevented it because he didn’t want his brother to partake in something he had experienced previously.
In an effort to convince people of his assertions, DJ Chicken even swore by all his life’s accomplishments to emphasize that he had indeed been intimate with Funmi Sugar multiple times.
