May Yul Edochie, the first wife of Nollywood actor Yul Edochie, showers praises on her father-in-law, Pete Edochie, following his remarkable achievement of receiving two Doctorate degrees.
As reported by Kemi Filani two days ago, Pete Edochie reached an incredible milestone in his career by being honored with two Doctorate degrees and a lifetime achievement award from Togo University, ISTM.
Edochie was bestowed with a Doctorate degree in Literature, another in Arts, and a lifetime achievement award by the International School of Technology and Management (ISTM) University in Togo.
Representatives from the University visited the legendary actor at his home to confer the honors, decorate him, and present the award plaque and certificates.
This prestigious recognition was granted to the veteran actor in acknowledgment of his significant contributions and nurturing role in the Nigerian creative industry.
Taking to her Instagram account, May shared photos from the award ceremony and expressed her admiration for the legendary actor.
She emphasized that it’s a rare honor for a veteran and legend to receive two decorations on the same day.
She extended her gratitude to ISTM University for making the wise decision to confer the titles of “Doctorate of Arts” and “Doctorate of Literature” upon the great @peteedochie. She described him as a man of honor, dignity, and a father figure to all, affectionately calling him the “Lion of Africa.”
