Popular Nigerian nightlife figure, Cubana Chiefpriest, recently issued a firm warning to those who regularly invite him to their weddings.
In a post posted on his verified Instagram page on September 5th, 2023, Cubana Chiefpriest expressed that anyone who invites him to their wedding and later experiences a divorce must reimburse him.
This reaction from Cubana Chiefpriest comes in response to online speculations regarding the alleged breakup of Isreal DMW, a close associate of Davido.
Recall that Israel Afeare, also known as Israel DMW, tied the knot with his partner, Sheila David, in Benin in October 2022. The wedding was a star-studded event attended by prominent figures, including Davido, Chioma, Cubana Chiefpriest, Pocolee, and others, who celebrated the occasion and generously supported Israel DMW.
Taking to his Instagram page, Cubana Chiefpriest advised those who invite him to their weddings to consider the financial, temporal, and emotional investments made in their marriages before deciding to separate. He further mentioned that henceforth, he would establish an agreement with anyone inviting him to their wedding, and if the marriage ends in dissolution, they will be expected to refund him.
Cubana wrote: “Before Una Break Up Make Una Try Dey Consider The Money/Time/Energy Wey We Invest For Una Marriage. Going Forward If You Dey Invite Me For Wedding We Go Get Agreement If Marriage Spoil Una Go Refund Me.”
