In a heartfelt homage to the late Nollywood actor Murphy Afolabi, veteran actor Sulaiman Aremu Ajilara, also known as Ajobiewe, has unveiled a touching soundtrack in his memory.
Ajobiewe shared this tribute on social media, featuring singer Busola Oke, with a caption that reads, “May Murphy continue to rest in peace. We love you dearly, but God’s love for you surpasses all. Otun di Arin noko odi oju ala👋.”
Nollywood actor Murphy Afolabi passed away just nine days after celebrating his 49th birthday. His colleagues revealed that he tragically slipped in his bathroom at his residence in Ikorodu, Lagos, on a Sunday morning. The sad news of his passing was shared by Seun Olaiya, the President of the Yoruba Movie Directors Guild, on a filmmakers’ WhatsApp platform.
Afolabi’s final social media post, shared on Saturday, was a heartfelt wish for his fans to have a happy weekend.
