Furthermore, he expresses that the only wife who financially supports him will truly reap the benefits of his wealth. By stating this, Portable is referring to his first wife as the one who stood by him during times of adversity, and he believes that he will now be able to enjoy a prosperous life with her, now that he is financially capable.
