Emmanuel Myam, also known as Emmiwuks, an avid supporter of the acclaimed musician David Adeleke, widely recognized as Davido, found himself in a hospital bed following an impressive 15-day cycling expedition from Benue State to Lagos with the intent of meeting the music sensation.
It’s noteworthy that on August 18, 2023, Friday, the determined cyclist from Benue triumphantly reached Lagos, where he received a warm welcome from the Tiv community residing in the state.
Davido had offered counsel to the young man, urging him to reconsider his journey as he wouldn’t be available to meet at that time. Curious about his fan, Davido had requested the fan’s account details, but Emmiwuks humbly declined the financial gesture.
Undaunted, Emmiwuks made an unplanned visit to the singer’s residence on Saturday night, hoping to meet Davido, only to discover that the artist wasn’t present.
A recent video surfaced on Emmiwuks’ social media, portraying him visibly weakened and unwell, as he received intravenous drips attached to his hand.
Emmiwuks was accompanied by his friends, seated beside his hospital bed, and they inquired about his hunger. He responded that they could bring him anything edible.
Even though the Benue Cyclist missed meeting Davido at his Lekki residence, he deemed his journey a success, content with the fact that he caught a glimpse of Davido’s home in Lagos.
