Clips of his arrival in Lagos on August 19, 2023, went viral as a group welcomed him. Despite being advised by Davido to go back due to the singer’s absence in the country, Emmi Chuks stayed determined and reached Lagos after a 15-day journey, showcasing his dedication.

Emmi Wuks’ arrival in Lagos coincides with Davido’s online announcement that he was out of Nigeria and wouldn’t be available in the near future. A video of Davido socializing with Nollywood star Timini at a club in Kigali, Rwanda, supported his statement.
