Nollywood actress Bukola Arugba was warmly welcomed during her visit to her alma mater, the University of Ilorin, last week. The students were eager to catch a glimpse of the charming screen goddess and took photos with her.
During her visit, Bukola participated in the World Mental Health Summit organized by the university. She delivered a compelling speech and poetry on mental health, using the entertainment industry as a case study. Accompanying her was the talented skitmaker, Taaooma.
Bukola expressed her heartfelt gratitude to God for the honor and reception she received at the event. She acknowledged the memorable experience where she also received an award.
She said, “I return all the glory to Almighty God for the Grace to do this at the World Mental Health Summit, University of Ilorin. Here is my short speech and a poetry recitation (spoken words) on mental health using the entertainment industry as a case study.”
Adding, “Na Baba God get all the Glory. My sweet heavenly father, your baby here returns all the glory, honor, and adoration to you alone. Hallelujah. World Mental Health Summit, University of Ilorin. I wish I could cover all.”

Actor Lateef Adedimeji expressed his happiness during a recent visit to his alma mater, Olabisi Onabanjo University in Ijebu Ode. He was invited to address the students and shared his delight in witnessing the enthusiasm and passion among today’s youth.
Even though it has been over ten years since he graduated, Lateef still feels a strong connection to the school and considers himself a product of its educational system. He found it gratifying to see the young generation eager to contribute to nation-building despite the challenges of the operating system.
During his session with the students, the actor emphasized the importance of collective responsibility in nation-building and encouraged them to learn from the insights he shared.
