Recently, disqualified BBNaija 2019 ex-housemate, Tacha, took to social media to reveal the reason behind her decision not to join the All-Star edition of the show.
The much-anticipated BBNaija Season 8, titled “All Star,” was launched on July 23rd, 2023, with 20 housemates introduced by the charismatic media personality, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.
The “All Stars” edition featured carefully selected housemates and fan favorites from previous seasons, including those from 2017 (See Gobe), 2018 (Double Wahala), 2019 (Pepper Dem), 2020 (Lockdown), 2021 (Shine Ya Eye), and 2022 (Level Up). The list of 20 housemates included well-known names like CeeC, Kiddwaya, Frodd, Alex Unusual, Seyi Awolowo, Mercy Eke, and more.
In response to her colleague Mike Edwards’ comment on Twitter, Tacha confirmed that BBNaija had approached her to be part of the show. However, she expressed her dissatisfaction with the offered compensation, indicating that she wasn’t willing to participate unless the price was increased.
The interaction began when Toke Makinwa asked her followers who they thought should have been added to the all-stars lineup, prompting Mike, the BBNaija 2019 runner-up, to suggest Tacha’s name. This led to Tacha’s response, where she humorously mentioned that they didn’t want to pay the right amount, causing the price to go up.
While Tacha may not have joined the All-Star edition this time, her fans eagerly await her future endeavors and appearances.
