His studio, which housed all his equipment, was also consumed by the flames. Since the incident, Chief Kanran has been sleeping in his church as he cannot afford to rent an apartment. Even meeting his basic needs has become difficult, and he has lost all four of his cars, either selling them for sustenance or due to accidents.
