Actress Tawa Ajisefinni was overwhelmed with emotions as she reunited with her father after a staggering 30 years apart.

During her visit to Nigeria, Nollywood actress Tawa Ajisefinni experienced a deeply emotional reunion with her biological father, Alhaji Fasasi Oladejo Jimoh Ajisefinni, after an astounding 30-year separation.

Tawa, a well-known figure in Yoruba cinema, expressed her overwhelming joy upon meeting her 92-year-old father. She acknowledged that many people assumed she didn’t have a father because she primarily shared videos of her beloved mother on social media. However, the truth was that she and her father had been estranged until last year following his divorce from her mother.

Providing further insight, Tawa revealed that her father had reached out to her and initiated a reconciliation a year ago, leading to their heartfelt reunion. Regardless of any past shortcomings or flaws he may have displayed, she made it clear that passing judgment on him was not her place. Tawa firmly believed that it was not her role to judge a parent.

This visit marked a significant milestone in Tawa Ajisefinni’s personal journey, allowing her to reconnect with her long-lost father and embark on a path of healing and understanding.

“I’m glad to meet you again after 30 years, Alhamdulillah. Many people think I don’t have a father because they only see me celebrating my sweet mum. He reconciled with me about a year ago, and here I am to see him after so many years. He recognized me quickly because he has been seeing me on the screen and he has my picture. I’m not here to judge anyone… Idajo obi kosi lowo Omo. Thank God, the King. RIP to my late sister, Airat Adebola Ajisefinni. May she not experience the pain of losing a child. Alhaja suffered greatly, but God be praised today. These things happen when parents go their separate ways most of the time. But men, please always be responsible to your kids. Goodness. Live long for us, Alhaji. I missed you, Dad. May God not abandon us. Should I settle their fight so that Alhaja will be at peace? (Yes, she just wiped me with an Oraimo cord).”
