Written by fazazy39

Ayodele Fayose, the former governor of Ekiti State, reaffirmed his steadfast opposition to Atiku Abubakar’s presidential aspirations during the February 25th election. Despite President Bola Tinubu’s victory, Fayose stated that he has no intention of defecting to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

These statements were made by Fayose during his appearance on Channels Television’s ‘Politics Today’ on Sunday night. He emphasized that he remains a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) unless the party decides otherwise. Fayose expressed his unwavering belief in and support for the PDP, stating that he intends to remain a member for the foreseeable future. He also made it clear that he has no plans to join the APC.

Furthermore, Fayose acknowledged his admiration for President Tinubu, recognizing him as a prominent leader of the Yoruba race. This admiration stems from Tinubu’s previous accomplishments and leadership in the region.
