Nollywood actress Kemi Afolabi seeks assistance from fellow Nigerians as she navigates a dispute with her bank, which has left her emotionally drained.

After returning from a pilgrimage to Mecca, Kemi revealed that she accidentally transferred the sum of N510,000 to another customer’s account in April. Unfortunately, both she and the recipient are customers of the same bank.

For the past three months, Kemi Afolabi has been involved in a protracted struggle with her bank, and the ongoing situation has taken a toll on her emotional and mental well-being.

In a plea for help, she humbly appealed to her fans to come to her aid, expressing her exhaustion and feeling overwhelmed by the circumstances.

“I mistakenly transferred the sum of five hundred and ten thousand naira to a customer’s account! We both use the same bank. Since April 1st, 2023. My dear fans, please come to my aid. I am truly exhausted!”

Displaying her growing impatience and weariness, Kemi Afolabi took to another post to directly call out her bank and urge them to take swift action.

After enduring the lengthy ordeal, the actress appealed directly to her bank, requesting them to promptly address the matter at hand.

“I seek help from @gtbank. It has been over 3 months! They are still holding on to my five hundred and ten thousand naira. I have been patient, but I am now exhausted. @gtbank, please do the necessary.”
