Pariolodo, a well-known actor in the Nigerian film industry, Nollywood, has publicly criticized Bolaji Amusan, widely recognized as Mr Latin and the current president of the Theater Arts and Motion Picture Producers Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN).
Expressing his disappointment and frustration, Pariolodo called out Mr Latin for his refusal to provide assistance during a time of need. In a widely circulated video, the veteran actor expressed his dismay at Mr Latin’s neglectful behavior.
Pariolodo emphasized that despite his extensive years of experience in the industry, Mr Latin has failed to offer any form of support. He reminded Mr Latin that he began his acting career in 1976, long before Mr Latin even entered secondary school. The actor asserted that they are not equals in terms of age and professional accomplishments.
Pariolodo urged Mr Latin not to seek attention using his name and criticized him for refusing to help simply because he is not a member of TAMPAN. He questioned whether it was TAMPAN that provided assistance to other veterans like Iya Gbonkan, Lalude, and others.
“You were still in secondary school when I started acting. What help have you ever rendered in my life? I am not willing to join your association, and I do not expect any help from you. Did your association help Iya Ibeji Omo Arayele, Iya Gbonkan, or Lalude? Please, do not use me to gain popularity with your fans.”
