Alapinni shares his emotional journey, stating, “I had two cars and money, but I sold everything when my first son fell ill. Sadly, I eventually lost him.”

A video has surfaced online, featuring Kamo, a renowned comedian known as “Nepa Boys,” and Fatai Adekunle Adetayo, also known as Lalude, on a movie set.

In the video, Kamo, speaking in Yoruba, appeals to his fans to kindly assist Lalude in acquiring a car so that he no longer has to rely on motorcycles for transportation.

This comes after the successful fundraising initiative for veteran actress Iya Gbonkan, where a total sum of 4.6 million naira was raised to support her in completing her house and acquiring a car. The effort was facilitated by popular prophet Gabriel, who, upon watching the video, personally visited the individual in Osogbo and mobilized funds from compassionate individuals worldwide to turn her dream into a reality.

Now, Lalude finds himself in a situation similar to Iya Gbonkan’s, where the challenges faced by veteran actors and actresses in the Nollywood industry, particularly in the Yoruba sector, are being brought to light through social media. Lalude, a highly respected Yoruba actor with a career spanning over four decades, is facing difficulties, and the online community is rallying to support him.

Fatai Adekunle Adetayo, popularly known as “Lalude,” has established himself as an iconic figure in the Nigerian film industry, specifically in Yoruba cinema. With his versatile acting skills, he has portrayed a wide range of characters, showcasing his comedic, serious, and dramatic talents. Lalude’s distinctive voice, expressive face, and natural talent have endeared him to audiences across generations.
