Amidst the separation from her colleague and husband, Segun Ogungbe, Nollywood actress Omowunmi Ajiboye has shared her thoughts on the matter.
Recent reports suggested that the couple had parted ways due to alleged infidelity on the actress’ part. In response, Wunmi Ajiboye posted a video on her Instagram page, emphasizing the importance of self-love and holding oneself in high regard as the key to happiness.
She expressed, “Love yourself first, and everything else falls in line. Talk to yourself like someone you love. Falling in love with yourself is the first secret to happiness.”
Coinciding with this, Segun Ogungbe conducted a live Instagram session, seemingly attempting to refute the separation rumors. He shared a video of his alleged estranged wife on a movie set, implying that they are still together.
Although Segun Ogungbe did not directly address the reports surrounding their marriage, his Instagram live video coincided with the news of their separation.
Interestingly, Segun Ogungbe’s first wife, Atinuke Ogungbe, showered affection on Wunmi Ajiboye in the past, expressing gratitude for her immense support during her birth party, movie, and herbal product launch in 2022.
The party, held in Oke Mosan, Abeokuta, Ogun State, attracted high-profile guests such as Sefiu Alao and Nollywood stars like Kemi Korede Portable.
Atinuke Ogungbe shared photos from the event on her Instagram page and expressed appreciation, acknowledging the significant support of her rival, Wunmi Ajiboye, and showering her with prayers.
She wrote: “Thank you so much, Omowunmi Ajiboye, my dear daughter, may the children in your care never lack in the name of Jesus. Amen. My brother, thank you, sir, Dare Agbejo, bless my wife, you have done well.”
