Afeez Oladimeji Agoro, the tallest man in Nigeria, has sadly passed away after a long illness.
The news of his demise was announced today, June 15th, 2023, by Pamilerin Adegoke, a well-known Twitter influencer.
It is worth mentioning that on May 8th, 2023, Intel Region reported Afeez Agoro’s plea for financial assistance as he prepared for surgery to address chronic hip arthritis.
For the past eight months, the 47-year-old, born in Sabo Yaba, Lagos State, had been confined to his bed. He revealed that he had exhausted all his life savings on medical treatments for his chronic hip arthritis, with no positive outcome.
In a video, the tallest man in Nigeria expressed the urgent need for a hip replacement surgery to address his hip’s ball and socket joint issues.
Pamilerin, confirming his passing, tweeted, “Nigeria’s tallest man, Afeez Agoro Oladimeji, has passed away after a prolonged illness.”
