Mr Macaroni shares his most valuable lesson from Hilda Baci’s cook-a-thon event while simultaneously launching a new world record.

Popular Nigerian skit maker and content creator, Debo Adebayo, better known as Mr Macaroni, recently shared the most significant lesson he learned from Hilda Baci’s cook-a-thon.

Taking to his Instagram page to congratulate Hilda Baci, Mr Macaroni highlighted her determination to continue cooking even after surpassing the previous record of 87 hours set by Lata Tondon.

He commended Hilda for pushing herself to reach 100 hours, despite the Guinness World Records (GWR) deducting 7 hours from her final time. Nevertheless, her decision enabled her to establish a new world record.

Expressing his gratitude to Hilda, Mr Macaroni stated that her resilience and dedication have inspired him to strive for more in his own endeavors.

In his trademark humorous style, Mr Macaroni also announced his upcoming record-breaking attempt called “Freak-A-Thon,” where he will aim to spend the longest time chasing “freakies,” presumably referring to his comedic skits.

“Congratulations, Hilda Baci! The greatest lesson here is that Hilda didn’t stop even after surpassing Lata Tondon’s 87-hour record. She went all the way to 100 hours, and her decision paid off with a new world record, despite GWR deducting 7 hours.

I’m inspired to do more. Thank you, Hilda. Daddy Wa is ready to shake the world!”

In an exciting update, Guinness World Records (GWR) has officially recognized Hilda Baci as the new record holder for the longest cooking marathon in the individual category. The news was first reported by Kemi Filani and later confirmed by GWR on Twitter.

After conducting a thorough review of the evidence, GWR announced that Hilda Effiong Bassey, popularly known as Hilda Baci, achieved a remarkable time of 93 hours and 11 minutes, breaking the previous record. The confirmation came one month after Hilda’s adventurous cooking marathon.

However, due to issues with her resting hours, Hilda’s record time was reduced from the original 100 hours she cooked for.

Upon hearing the news, Hilda expressed her gratitude on Twitter, where she couldn’t contain her excitement and repeatedly exclaimed her thanks. She also shared a screenshot of the Guinness World Records statement on her Instagram page, acknowledging that it was God’s doing.

In emotional videos posted on her Instagram story, Hilda Baci was seen sitting in her car, reading an email from GWR on her phone. Overwhelmed with joy, she broke down in tears and offered heartfelt thanks to God for this achievement.
