During the introduction, he made rude comments about her desperate search for a spouse while wearing modest outfits. The controversial actor went on to suggest that the estranged queen should wear revealing attire and speak in English, even if she struggled with the language.

The marriage between Queen Dami and the late Alaafin crashes
Queen Damilola’s marriage to the late monarch came to an end following a series of events. Allegedly, she was locked up in a cell for supposedly violating a palace rule, which prompted her to leave the marriage and flee to Lagos in April 2021.
Upon her release, Queen Damilola took to her Instagram page on October 31st, 2021, to issue an apology to the monarch. She attributed her actions to frustration and the influence of misguided friends. Expressing remorse, she acknowledged her lack of clarity and regretted tarnishing the royal family’s reputation. She pleaded with the royal monarch for forgiveness and to be allowed back into the palace.
However, despite her public apology, the Alaafin of Oyo chose to reject her, refusing to welcome her back into the palace.
Further controversy arose when Queen Dami, along with her mother, attempted to claim her inheritance from the late ruler’s wealth after his death. However, they were disgraced and turned away from the palace.
Breaking her silence, Queen Dami shared a throwback video of the traditional ruler on her Instagram page, expressing that he would forever hold a place in her heart. She bid him a peaceful rest.
The situation remains unresolved, with Queen Damilola facing estrangement from the palace and the aftermath of her failed marriage to the late monarch.
