Tonto Dikeh, reflecting on her experience as a single mother, raises a question about the audacity of a complete stranger requesting her assistance in securing a job.

This morning, Tonto Dikeh, a prominent Nollywood actress, found herself grappling with some pressing questions. As a single mother, she couldn’t help but question the audacity of an unknown individual who slid into her DMs, requesting her to utilize her connections in order to secure them a job.

Expressing her perplexity, Tonto Dikeh struggled to comprehend the underlying intentions behind such a request. She highlighted the potential ramifications, emphasizing that if this stranger were to engage in illicit activities, she might inadvertently bear the consequences for their actions.

“I still can’t wrap my head around this,” Tonto Dikeh mused. “Perhaps I’m being overly rational, but how can a complete stranger message you, asking for help in finding a job? It would be understandable if I knew you to some extent. However, when a total stranger expects me to leverage my connections on their behalf, it becomes problematic. After all, I don’t know your background.”

She went on to raise concerns about the potential risks involved, mentioning crimes such as theft, murder, fraud, or even planning a kidnapping. Tonto Dikeh emphasized that in such situations, the responsibility might fall upon her.

“My darlings, there comes a point where begging should cease, and this is way beyond that limit!” she exclaimed. “It’s astonishing to think that some women would immediately beg me to find jobs for their husbands, mere moments after receiving a picture of someone with a distorted face.”

She concluded with a heartfelt plea, “Oh, Jesus, take control of the situation.”
