Daddy Freeze, a well-known media personality, has weighed in on the polygamy controversy involving Yul Edochie and his first wife, May Edochie.
The Edochie family’s marital dispute has gained significant attention in Nigeria, becoming a trending topic. Daddy Freeze recently addressed the ongoing conflict in response to a video featuring Don Jazzy, expressing his own viewpoint on the matter.
Daddy Freeze’s response comes in light of an Instagram vlogger named Tunde Ednut sharing a video of Don Jazzy discussing his views on relationships during a podcast with Nedu Wazobia.
During the podcast, the Mavin boss revealed that he is not the type of man who commits to one woman. He explained that while he may meet someone he likes, he doesn’t currently envision himself falling in love with one woman and staying with her for the rest of his life.
Don Jazzy stated, “I wouldn’t be able to process the fact that if I like this person, every other person should go to hell. As of now, in my life, when that butterfly feeling hits me like it hits you all when you fall in love, maybe then I’ll say every other person is irrelevant, and this is the person I like.”
In response to Don Jazzy’s comment, Daddy Freeze expressed his belief that the ongoing controversy in Yul Edochie’s marriage could have been avoided if he had initially communicated to his wife that he is a polygamist and cannot commit to one woman.
Daddy Freeze wrote in the comment section of Tunde Ednut’s post, “If Yul had told May this from the beginning, there wouldn’t be any issues today. As for me, I get butterflies for @tastebudzng, though. But I understand him perfectly.”
