To commemorate his 7th coronation anniversary, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi Ojaja II, displayed his generosity by awarding various gifts to his royal aides.
According to a statement released by the palace spokesperson, Moses Olalere, on Saturday, the monarch presented appreciation letters and a sum of N100,000 to five deserving staff members. Additionally, three staff members received N200,000 each, while two palace aides were granted N250,000 each.
A remarkable aide was honored with a substantial sum of N300,000, while three exceptional staff members were individually bestowed with one million naira each. Furthermore, one fortunate royal aide was awarded the star prize: a car valued at seven million naira.
During the celebration, the Ooni took the opportunity to acknowledge the significant contributions of one of his wives, Olori Temitope Enitan Ogunwusi, who is the founder of the Hopes Alive Initiative. He expressed his appreciation for her ongoing dedication in the realm of poverty alleviation and empowerment of the less privileged in society.
