During the burial ceremony of Murphy Afolabi, Nollywood actor Alhaji Oluwole Cole, popularly known as Baraka, shared intriguing details about Murphy’s untimely demise. Baraka refuted the notion that the bathroom tiles caused Murphy to slip, revealing a different cause.
According to Baraka, Murphy had been experiencing bouts of dizziness, which eventually led to his passing. A few days prior to his death, while they were together running errands during Fuji singer Malaika’s birthday celebration, Murphy had complained of feeling weak.
After his own birthday celebration, Murphy battled malaria for a couple of days. On the day of his unfortunate passing, he was already feeling unwell. Baraka disclosed that Murphy had called for a nurse to administer treatment at his home and had consumed pap (a local meal) before going to the bathroom, where he experienced dizziness and slipped.
Baraka emphasized that it was not the bathroom tiles that caused Murphy’s fall, but rather the dizziness he was experiencing. This unexpected episode ultimately led to his tragic demise.
