During his interview with Adisa of Labe Orun, Murphy provided his side of the story. He explained that the girl had come to a movie location accompanied by a friend who posed as her mother, while he served as the movie director. Murphy mentioned that she showed an excessive attachment towards him, but he tried to distance himself. He admitted to having sexual relations with her on that day, but later discovered that other men at the location had also slept with her, which made him feel embarrassed to know her. He suggested that she approach Golugo if she had an interest in acting.
Recently, the alleged daughter of Murphy Afolabi, named Moyosoreoluwa Afolabi, who turned seven in August, expressed her desire to meet her father, which led to unexpected developments. Reports indicate that Moyosoreoluwa has been facing difficulties in school due to the absence of a father figure in her life.
In order to establish the child’s paternity and resolve the matter, a DNA test was requested from the actor. However, Murphy has consistently refused to comply with the request thus far.
