Prominent Nollywood actor and filmmaker, Murphy Afolabi, will be laid to rest tomorrow, as per recent reports. The news of his passing has left fans and colleagues devastated. Born in Osogbo, Afolabi’s burial will take place in his hometown on May 15th. Tunde Ola Yusuf, a fellow colleague, confirmed the actor’s demise on Instagram, bidding him a heartfelt farewell and praying for his soul to find eternal rest.

According to Naijalegit, it was revealed that Murphy Afolabi tragically lost his life after slipping and hitting his head on a hard surface. Afolabi’s passing occurred just a few days after celebrating his 49th birthday, leaving the Nollywood community mourning.
