As Olori Memunat, the devoted wife of the late Alaafin of Oyo, celebrates her birthday today, it is testimony time for her.
The late monarch’s wife wrote on her Instagram page that she never imagined she would rise to the status of someone deserving, much less a Queen.
Queen Memunat shares her testimony and expresses her gratitude for her family’s continued growth as well as her accomplishments, breaking down barriers and changing lives.
The lovely queen was grateful to her creator and did not forget to thank Him for giving her knowledge.
“Happy birthday to myself. It’s been exactly one year since Mr. and Mrs. Babatunde welcomed a baby girl into their family, unaware that I would grow up to be someone deserving, let alone a queen. When you are having fun, time also seems to fly by. I can’t believe we’re now in that same wonderful year!
The family’s strength and immense peace continue to increase. By achieving my attainable goals and pushing the boundaries of what is possible, I’m positively influencing people’s lives. Without God’s knowledge, none of these are going to happen. I’m not boasting about being fortunate; rather, I’m just taking advantage of the occasion to express my sincere thankfulness for all the favors I’ve received from my creator since coming into the world. All I can say is halihamdulilah and fully thankful beyond words
